Now I
present one model of self-esteem and performance developing exercise to you.
Book yourself a quiet time and a place where you can relax either sitting or
lying down. Open your hands and feet, if they are crossed. This will allow your
mind and muscles relax in the best possible way. Take a few deep breaths and sighs deep. Let
your breathing get deeper than your normal waking breath. Your breathing is
natural…, regular…, steady… and calm.
Then gently
close your eyes, if they are still open. Allow them to be calmly and quietly
closed. Think about relaxing, rest and peace in your mind. The murmurs from the
environment are not interested from your point of view and they do not bother
you. The ambient sounds are softly in the background and you are relaxingly
listening to my voice. You are only interested in the sound of my voice,
relaxation, rest and peace. You are focused only on the present moment and this
event. Your breathing is natural, smooth, quiet and regular. Each quiet and
peaceful inhalation and exhalation makes you feel to sink deeper and deeper in
to that pleasant and peaceful relaxation mode. You feel drowsy like you were
lying in the gentle sunshine, when the sun is warming you perfectly.
