Mindfulness In Sales

Mindfulness game in to awareness to the most people after Jon Kabat-Zin developed Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) technique in 1979 and it was used about 20-30 years. Since 1979 MBSR and its effects and efficacy has been studied many times and it is found that pain-related drug utilization was decreased and activity levels and feelings of self esteem increased for a majority of participants who used MBSR. MBSR, which includes mindfulness meditation and yoga, is developed to help people out from different stress-related symptoms or to reduce them. Working in sales and in sales department is quite often stressful and abrasive, as we know. Since we know mindfulness exercises and meditation helpful and efficient with reducing stress generally we can expect it's doing so for sales people. In the case we manage to reduce stress level of sales professionals enough, we can get more sales through better health, concentration and wellbeing of sales professionals.

Developing together mental training (incl. suggestions and hypnosis) and mindfulness skills will help sales departments in all business areas like real estate, retail, marketing, ICT, heavy industry etc.. This blog will introduce you these methods through reading and exercises. Exercises are either mental training, suggestions, hypnosis and mindfulness or combining and mixing them exclusively for sales professionals.
